We normally obtain this information directly from you. We may also receive information from other people or organisations in connection with an instruction, including solicitors, agents, landlords, tenants, local authorities and other professional advisers.
We do not normally seek to collect special category personal data, such as information about health, ethnicity, religious beliefs or political opinions. We may, however, receive such information where it is relevant to a professional instruction.
2. How we use your information
We use personal information where necessary to:
respond to enquiries;

We do not sell your personal information.
3. Our lawful basis for using your information
Depending on the circumstances, we process personal information on one or more of the following bases:
Contract - the information is necessary to enter into or perform a contract with you.
Legitimate interests - the information is necessary for the proper administration of our business, providing professional services, maintaining appropriate records, responding to enquiries and protecting our legal and professional interests.
Legal obligation - processing is necessary to comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or other obligations that apply to us.
Consent - where consent is required, for example for certain non-essential website cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
4. Sharing your information
We may share personal information where reasonably necessary for an instruction or the operation of our business. This may include solicitors, accountants, other professional advisers, local authorities, government or regulatory bodies and other parties involved in a property matter.
We also use trusted third-party service providers for services including cloud storage, document management and electronic signatures, accounting, case management and website hosting.
These currently include Google Drive, Oneflow, FreeAgent, Ninox, PandaDoc and Squarespace.
We only share information where there is an appropriate reason to do so and do not sell personal information to third parties.
5. International transfers
Some of the service providers we use may process or store personal information outside the UK.
Where personal information is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate arrangements or safeguards required by UK data protection law.
6. How long we keep your information
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
In deciding how long information should be retained, we take account of our legal, regulatory, professional indemnity, accounting and record-keeping requirements, together with the potential need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Information that is no longer required will be securely deleted or destroyed where appropriate.
7. Website and cookies
Our website is hosted by Squarespace.
The website uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for it to operate. With your consent, non-essential cookies may also be used to help us understand how visitors use the website and improve its performance.
